In the city of the dreaming spires, it is impossible to be far from a superlative view.
From the glances of the Radcliffe Camera that Brasenose Lane affords, to the vista across the meadows of the incalculably beautiful Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford offers up artistic inspiration at every juncture. Accordingly, we felt that we should assist in the capturing to these moments, and thus the Oxford Sketchbook was born.
Designed here in Turl Street and actualised in our bindery in Piacenza, the Oxford Sketchbook aims to combine portability with utility, allowing you enough space to reproduce the spectacles before you without weighing you down unnecessarily.
The soft leather cover of the journal features an illustration of Oxford's exquisite High Street from a bygone century, and the back is emblazoned with a quote from Dorothy L. Sayers' Gaudy Night that faultlessly expresses Oxford's mystical atmosphere.
The sketchbook comprises 96 acid-free pages, allowing you to not only capture the sights of your visit to Oxford, but majestic sights from future travels as well.
Made in Piacenza, Italy.
